Sharing a poem about Barrio Walk: Stepping Into Wisdom
Barrio Walk is about life and the friends that we make.
So, make wise choices, for goodness sake.
Every day is a blessing and there is no guarantee,
who will survive it, in this land of the free.
You see the barrio changes, then your homies are gone.
But those clicks at work will continue… on and on!
Barrio walker, hustling by day and Uber at night.
Just struggling to make it with all your might.
The choice is yours, whatcha gonna be?
A dropout, a druggee, or maybe a P.H. Dee.
My choice came quickly, but it also came late.
Connecting with Wisdom was always my fate.
I had this huge hole inside of my heart,
now since That Day, we are never apart.
You see Wisdom is Jesus inside of me,
Guiding my walk into eternal destiny.
How can you tell when someone has made it?
That person will say, “I would not trade it.”
As believers we step through our life journey,
while telling others how not to be lonely.
